Dr. David is eager to provide excellent dental care that you and your family deserve. He will commit to making every visit to our clinic most pleasant and enjoyable.

Dr. David was born and raised in South Korea. He moved to Ontario, Canada when he was 12 years old. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto, he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne in Australia. Dr. David is licensed in both Australia and Canada.
Despite being a dentist, Dr. David had dental phobia when he was a child from one bad experience. To overcome this fear, all it took was one good experience with a caring dentist. He wants to be that one positive experience for all of his patients by being sympathetic and by providing a thorough explanation of the procedures.

Dr. David loves to volunteer whenever he can. He has volunteered to provide free dental care to marginalised communities in rural areas in Australia. He has been on multiple mission trips to Vanuatu to provide dental treatments to people who did not have access to dental care.

Dr. David continues to attend educational seminars in areas such as implantology, orthodontics (invisalign) and endodontics to keep up on the cutting edge of dentistry to provide excellent care for his patients

Dr. David recently moved to the Cairns, QLD and he is enjoying every part of the city. He is very excited to build his family in Cairns with his wife whom he met in Melbourne. Besides his love for dentistry and volunteering, He enjoys taking photos and creating videos for his friends and family as he was an amateur photographer prior to becoming a dentist. Also, He loves camping and travelling.
